FAQ, USER'S TERMS & AGREEMENT
1. What is Homeschool Families Network? The Internet's Homeschool Alumni Directory! This site is created to provide a safe networking place for homeschooling familes on the internet. Our goal is to connect you to homeschoolers all over the world! Find out who homeschools in your area! Find support, information, and encouragement that you need! Make friends and share your homeschooling experience.
2. Who Can Post Profiles? Everyone over 18 years of age who is a homeschooler is welcome to register and post a profile. Whether you are a beginner, an experienced homeschooler, a homeschool graduate or a homeschool support group or organization, we invite you to register now and submit your profile.
3. What's a Homeschool Profile? What do I post? - Everything you want to share about your family, your homeschool, curriculum you use, how many children, your homeschool experience, your testimony, and other comments. To see an example of a homeschool profile page, click here.
4. My Language and Conduct? - Family-safe and kid-friendly words only please! We subscribe to strong Christian and traditional family values! Profile placement is subject to our approval. We reserve the right to delete or modify postings that are inappropriate for this site (these include but are not limited to: foul language, pornography, alternative lifestyles, cult activities, gambling, etc). Please read our mission and statement of faith.
5. Number of Posts - The maximum number of posts/profiles a person can post is 4 at any given time (up to 4 categories).
6. Number of Pictures - The maximum number of pictures a person can upload is 4 at any given time.
7. Can I delete my profile? - Yes you may add, change, delete your profile.
8. Why Do I Need a User ID and Password? - For privacy and protection, a User ID and Password are required for a user to submit, change, delete files. Your mailing address is required during registration but is not made public.
9. Are my mailing and e-mail addresses visible to the public? - Your privacy is protected. Your e-mail address is hidden and you are not required to post your mailing address.
10. What if someone wants to e-mail me or if I want to contact another User? - Then you simply fill-out the contact form at the bottom of the User's profile and hit "Send." The message will be sent through our Form Mail without revealing the User's e-mail address.
11. Homeschool Families Network does not act as a mediator, arbitrator, messenger, comunicator, etc. between Users. Homeschool Families Network is only an information database and information herein are for information purposes only and not to be misconstrued as a legal advice.
11. Users assume full responsibility over the content of their Profile Pages.
12. Users agree to assume all legal liability, losses, and legal fees related to their profiles placed on Homeschool Families Network. These include but are not limited to claims and suits for plagiarism, libel, copyright infringement, trademark violations, harm to minors, or invasion of privacy. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Teaching Home Network / ChristianHomeschoolers.com, its owners and workers from any such charges or suits.
13. Homeschool Families Network does not guarantee, either by verbal or written or implied means, that placement of profiles will result in sales, income, or other earnings.
14. Homeschool Families Network reserves the right to terminate any User who fails to abide by these terms and conditions.
15. Homeschool Families Network reserves the right to terminate and discontinue this free service at anytime without notice to Users.
