Christian Homeschoolers seems
like a pretty self-explanatory site, so I won't bother explaining the
obvious. First things first, I checked out their "Mission
& Statement of Faith." Solid Scriptural basis for all
faith statements is provided, and the Mission statement is (basically) to
provide Christian materials for homeschoolers to help train up and
evangelize.
The Supplies
Area was well-laid out. As expected, the links are attached to
another company, with an identifier so that christianhomeschoolers
can get credit for the sale. The supplies offered are extensive,
although I am not familiar enough to say either way with regard to
prices.
To keep students up on current
events, they offer a Today's
News section. The news is provided by Lifeline
News, a Christian news organization. They offer 6 categories of
news: Church and Missions, U.S. News, World News, Business and Technology,
and Sports. There
is also a link to Homeschool News operated by the Homeschool
Legal Defense Association.
The Resources
Area holds a plethora of information. From biographies of famous
homeschooled people, to common questions about homeschooling, to
curriculum links, and standardized testing information for homeschoolers.
I could easily get lost in all of this information. If I were
considering homeschooling, this
page is the page that would occupy my time until I got all the
information I needed to make a decision.
Other sections include Christian
Discernment, Creation
Science, Missing
Children, Japan
Studies, Free
E-cards, Free
Classifieds and more. This site is definitely worth checking out
whether you're a homeschooler, or considering homeschooling. Either
way, christianhomeschoolers
can help answer some questions and support those who may feel like they
are alone in their educational experiences.
