Office of Special Education Programs - The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) is a component of the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS), which is one of the principal components of the U.S. Department of Education (ED). In addition to OSEP, OSERS includes the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) and the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR). OSEP's mission and organization focus on the free appropriate public education of children and youth with disabilities from birth through age 21.

PICC (Parents Instructing Challenged Children) - PICC is a network of parents home schooling, or thinking about home schooling, their handicapped child. The parents of any child who would be labeled by the Committee on Special Education of the public school system would be invited to join PICC. We have members who have children with a wide range of handicapping conditions (learning disabled, attention deficit, cerebral palsy, blindness, hearing loss, Downs Syndrome, microcephalous, etc).

The Council for Exceptional Children - The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities, and/or the gifted. CEC advocates for appropriate governmental policies, sets professional standards, provides continual professional development, advocates for newly and historically underserved individuals with exceptionalities, and helps professionals obtain conditions and resources necessary for effective professional practice.

The National Academy for Child Development - Is an international organization of parents and professionals dedicated to helping children and adults reach their full potential. Founded in 1979 by internationally recognized educator and lecturer Robert J. Doman, Jr., NACD designs very specific home Neurodevelopmental programs for infants, children and adults. The over 15,000 clients served by NACD have come to us with labels including; Learning Disabled, Dyslexic, Distractible, ADD, ADHD, Hyperactive, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Tourettes Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Fragile X, Developmentally Delayed, PDD, Autistic, Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injured, Comatose, Retarded, Minimal Brain Dysfunction, Normal, Accelerated, and Gifted. The families served by NACD have traveled to our centers from all 50 states, Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, Australia and Canada.
